How to prepare
  1. Open the pouch and remove the oxygen absorber
  2. Add the recommended amount of boiling water (listed on package, typically 1.5-2 cups)
  3. Stir well and reseal the pouch
  4. Wait 10-15 minutes (some meals may need longer at high altitude)
  5. Enjoy directly from the pouch or transfer to a bowl

Altitude Tip: At elevations above 3,000m/10,000ft, water boils at a lower temperature. Allow extra rehydration time (15-20 minutes) or use extra-hot water.

Storage and shelf life

The single plus portion is the perfect amount of food for an average day on trail. Excellent flavor and the pasta rehydrated very well considering the size. I added a double serving of West Coast Kitchen’s beef protein booster and this made it very filling. The ingredients for all their meals are high quality, tasty and rehydrate very well.
