2. Products and Orders
- All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion.
- Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
- We strive to display accurate product descriptions and images. Minor variations in appearance may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our products.
- Orders are processed through Shopify. By placing an order, you also agree to Shopify's terms of service.
3. Shipping Policy
- We ship within Canada only via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.
- British Columbia: Flat rate shipping of $15 per order.
- All other provinces: Flat rate shipping of $20 per order.
- Estimated delivery is approximately 3 business days, though this is not guaranteed by Canada Post.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by Canada Post, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of food products, we have the following return policy:
- We do not accept returns on opened food products for health and safety reasons.
- If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@westcoastkitchen.ca with photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the matter.
- Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
5. Account Terms
- You may create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
6. AI Chat Assistant
Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant to help answer questions about our products and services. Please note that responses generated by the AI are for informational purposes only and may not always be perfectly accurate. For allergy-related questions or specific dietary concerns, please verify information by contacting us directly. The chat assistant does not process orders or handle payment information.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and product descriptions — is the property of West Coast Kitchen and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
West Coast Kitchen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
